Children's Champion
Each year, Episcopal Children’s Services hosts the Children’s Champion Award Luncheon to recognize a person in our community whose service has significantly improved the quality of life for children and their families in Northeast Florida. Over the past three years, we have been privileged to honor Mayor John Peyton in 2006, Delores Barr Weaver in 2007, and most recently, Ed Burr in 2008.
The 2009 luncheon will be held at the UNF University Center on February 5, 2009 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. For more information, contact Eve Apel at (904) 726-1500 ext. 224.
