DCF has extended their background processing time. It will now take up to 7 business days to receive a clearance letter.
We will offer livescan services by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9am to 1pm. On Tuesday & Thursday from 12pm to 4pm.
Livescan technology uses an electronic scanner instead of the traditional ink-and-card process. Fingerprints can be stored, shared and analyzed digitally, making the entire process faster and more accurate.
Episcopal Children's Services, an authorized FDLE Livescan vendor, offers complete electronic outsourcing of the fingerprinting process from collection through transmission to states and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Episcopal Children's Services currently serves the L2 background screening needs of many childcare, healthcare and many not for profit businesses in Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia.
What is required for your Livescan appointment?
