Livescan

FDLE is performing another systems upgrade and has requested all livescan vendors in the state to not transmit any fingerprints from April 26th through April 30th. Therefore we will not book any appointments on Thursday the 26th through Monday the 30th.

Livescan hours have changed. Effective April 01, 2012 we will offer livescan services by appointment only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4:30pm.

Livescan technology uses an electronic scanner instead of the traditional ink-and-card process. Fingerprints can be stored, shared and analyzed digitally, making the entire process faster and more accurate.

Episcopal Children's Services, an authorized FDLE Livescan vendor, offers complete electronic outsourcing of the fingerprinting process from collection through transmission to states and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Episcopal Children's Services currently serves the L2 background screening needs of many childcare, healthcare and many not for profit businesses in Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia.

Livescans are completed by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
