ECS has partnered with the agencies below to bring parents more resources. These websites contain information that will help you find the child care setting that is right for your family as well as address other child care / early childhood issues. Many of these sites also contain research and public policy papers dealing with early childhood and childcare so that you, the parent and community member, can be fully informed and influence the public debate regarding issues affecting your family.

Florida KidCare Health Insurance is a free program available for children aged 0 to 18 years.

The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a special tax benefit for people who work full- or part-time. Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. With the Child Tax Credit, you may be able to reduce the federal income tax you owe by up to $1,000 for each qualifying child under age 17. Call 1-800-TAX-FORUM (1-800-829-3676).

NACCRRA, the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies, is our nation's leading voice for child care. Visit NACCRRA's Child Care Aware site to download information about child care options in English or Spanish. Selections include "All in the Family" a guide to using relative caregivers, "A Guide for Dads", "Matching your Infants or Toddlers Style to the Right Care" and much more.

The Florida's Children's Forum has many resources for parents. It is a Florida based advocacy group working with children's issues.
