Financial Assistance for Child Care and Early Learning Programs
There are several options available to parents needing financial assistance with child care. Many require the recipient to be income eligible. When determining if a family is eligible for financial assistance, gross income (before any benefits or taxes are deducted) is used, along with the size of the family. Normally no other bills or deductions, such as housing or light bills, are counted. Also, some funding sources require that you live in particular areas, have children of certain ages, or other requirements.
For eligibility requirements visit Child Care Resource and Referral, Head Start, School Readiness, or Voluntary Prekindergarten.
