Hours of Operation: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.                            

At Episcopal Early Learning Academy you will find a home-like environment that is warm and inviting. Nurturing early childhood professionals provide a sense of security that encourages your child to explore and investigate the world around them.  Developmentally appropriate curriculum and materials stretch the imagination while developing motor skills, and building early language skills and social skills. Our whole-child approach provides individualized care and guidance through a variety of learning activities that promote essential critical thinking and problem solving skills.   

Weekly tuition includes breakfast, lunch and snacks and enrichment activities. Extracurricular activities are available for an additional fee.

Infants – Early Preschool (Ages 6 weeks – 24 months)

Foundations for Success is a research-based infant/toddler curriculum that focuses on four foundational areas necessary for supporting infant and toddler development:

  • Relationships

  • Movements

  • Language

  • Senses / perceptions

Preschool - VPK (Ages 3 – 5)

  • Links to Early Learning is a research-based curriculum that meets National School Readiness Standards. Links to Early Learning is dedicated to helping each child achieve school readiness through a “print-rich” environment, hands-on learning centers, engaging social experiences, and much more. The curriculum nurtures the essential elements of lifelong learning: curiosity, initiative, persistence, reasoning and problem solving. It addresses all areas of development, or domains, for preschool children including:     

  • Language development

  • Literacy

  • Cognitive development (math, science, creative arts)

  • Social and emotional development

  • Approaches to learning

  • Physical and health development

Teaching Strategies GOLD® (TSG)is a comprehensive, research-based, authentic ongoing assessment system that supports effective teaching and children’s development and learning. Teaching Strategies GOLD® allows teachers to plan appropriate learning experiences to help children succeed, and is fully aligned with the Florida early learning standards. VPK Assessment

The Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Assessment was developed by The Florida Center for Reading Research has developed, in collaboration with the Florida Department of Education. The purpose of this assessment is to provide teachers with valid and reliable feedback regarding children's progress in attaining the skills in the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for Four-Year Olds (2011) (Standards for Four-Year Olds), so that teachers may use this information to guide instructional decisions in the VPK classroom.

The VPK Assessment includes progress monitoring measures in the areas of:

  • Print Knowledge
  • Phonological Awareness
  • Mathematics
  • Oral Language and vocabulary

Dates for Assessment Periods (AP)

  • Assessment Period 1 - the month of September*
  • Assessment Period 2 - the month of January
  • Assessment Period 3 - the month of April/May (end of program year)*
