Destinee Disher Swanson is an Audit Managing Director at Grant Thornton LLP with over 18 years of experience providing assurance services. She is currently a member of the firm’s Regulatory & Practice Review team, where she plays a key role in enhancing audit quality across the practice. She began her career in the firm’s Atlanta office and broadened her global perspective through a rotation in London, United Kingdom.

For the past eight years, she has been based in Jacksonville, Florida, where she now calls home with her husband and young son. Destinee is a recognized specialist in assisting engagement teams with complex U.S. GAAP and auditing matters. She serves a diverse client base, including not-for-profit organizations, bringing deep technical expertise and a collaborative approach to solving challenging accounting issues.

Destinee holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Outside of her professional work, Destinee is actively engaged in her community. She supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Jacksonville Humane Society, where she volunteers and serves as a foster parent. She also serves on the Board of Directors for ECS4Kids, a role she has held since 2020.
