ECS has partnered with the agencies below to bring parents more resources. These websites contain information that will help you find the child care setting that is right for your family, as well as address other child care/early childhood issues. Many of these sites also contain research and public policy papers dealing with early childhood and child care so you, the parent and community member, can be fully informed and influence the public debate regarding issues affecting your family.
Florida KidCare Health Insurance is a free program available for children aged 0 to 18 years.
The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a special tax benefit for people who work full- or part-time. With the Child Tax Credit, you may be able to reduce the federal income tax you owe by up to $1,000 for each qualifying child under age 17. Call 1-800-TAX-FORUM (1-800-829-3676).

The Children’s Forum has many resources for parents. It is a Florida-based advocacy group working with children’s issues.
