ECS4Kids Providers

Whether you are an established provider interested in achieving national accreditation or just starting out and want information on opening a child care business, Episcopal Children’s Services has the resources for you.


School Readiness Providers

In accordance with s.1002.88(1)(f), F.S., child care providers contracted with the School Readiness program must use a state-approved curriculum or curricula for programs serving children birth through 5 years old.

VPK Providers

For classrooms that have 83 or more instructional days, PM1 must be administered in the first 30 instructional days of the VPK class schedule beginning with the first VPK instructional day.

BECOME A SCHOOL READINESS PROVIDER

You will need to first complete your center profile for the program year you want to offer SR and submit it for activation. Once your profile has been reviewed by ECS and activated, we can initiate the SR contract. The Provider Portal User Guide is a helpful tool to have saved to your desk top during the process of completing your profile and contract.

BECOME A VPK PROVIDER

You will need to first complete your center profile for the program year you want to offer VPK and submit it for activation. Once your profile has been reviewed by ECS and activated, we can initiate the VPK APP and eventually the VPK contract. Provider Training Information

ECS4Kids has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). In obtaining this accreditation, the ECS4Kids has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is recognized internationally as a standard of good practice. As a result of the Authorized Provider status, the ECS4Kids is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.

CoachJax!

CoachJAX is a specialized team of 16, including 12 Early Learning Specialists, who work with private providers in Duval County. The goal of CoachJAX is to improve the quality of teacher/child interactions, learning environments, and school readiness for children in the community. CoachJAX works within the Workforce Development Grant in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Duval and the Kids Hope Alliance.
