Jeanne Lightcap’s extensive career includes 35+ years with the PGA TOUR , starting with Accounting Manager in 1987 progressing to EVP – Finance in 2016 through the first quarter of 2022, with transition to EVP Financial Strategy prior to retirement September 30, 2022. Prior to the PGA TOUR, Ms. Lightcap started her career in Finance & Accounting at Methodist Hospital in Jacksonville (now part of UF Health) in 1985. She passed the Florida CPA exam in early 1987 and has been a member of the AICPA and FICPA since then.
Responsibilities at the PGA TOUR included oversight of all accounting and financial reporting operations of PGA TOUR, Inc., a membership organization exempt under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code with over $1.7 billion in gross revenue and $3.1 billion in assets. Responsibilities also included financial accounting and reporting for several charitable organizations exempt under IRC – Section 501(c)(3), including PGA TOUR Charities, Inc., PGA TOUR Charitable and Educational Fund, PGA TOUR Wives Association, and THE PLAYERS Championship Village.
In her role with THE PLAYERS Championship Village, Ms. Lightcap also managed the company which raised funds for and constructed a facility with the same name for adolescent substance and alcohol abuse treatment. This facility was operated by Gateway Community Services through 2011. It was later leased to Eisenhower Center from Ann Arbor, Michigan from 2016 – 2023, at which time the facility was sold to Eisenhower Center for $3.25 million. Ms. Lightcap worked with Baptist Health Foundation to utilize these funds to provide a $3 million grant to establish a new Adolescent Behavioral Health unit at Baptist Health of Jacksonville.
