At ECS, we proactively work with children from birth to age five and their families to build a strong educational foundation. We want them to be prepared to succeed in school and in life. It’s a “whole” child approach – we help kids grow intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially. We’ve
developed a custom coaching model and curriculum for children, families and teachers. We offer a variety of programs that help raise the standard of care and education in the community. Currently, we work with more than 25,000 children and families in eight counties in Northeast Florida – Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns and Union.
Vision
Doing whatever it takes to engage children and their families in building a foundation for learning.
Mission
Creating opportunity for all our children to achieve their full potential.

Opening Another Window of Opportunity Video
The National Head Start Association put out a request to all agencies to send in stories, videos and new clips about the impact Head Start has made on children and families lives. The campaign is to highlight the 27 million children who have been served by Head Start. We were fortunate to have our own Amber Oliviera and Star Postell take on this request for Episcopal Children’s Services. The video is a testament to the importance of these programs and to the wonderful staff who work with these children and families every day. We would like to ask that you view this and post it on your Facebook or other social media page if you have one. The more we can get out our message the better!!
