You recently moved to the area. How has having free early learning and meals through ECS helped you and your daughter as you’ve gotten settled?
Having ECS has honestly been such a big help for us during this transition. Moving to a new area comes with so many changes and expenses, so knowing my daughter has access to quality early learning and meals at no cost has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. It’s helped us settle in and find some normalcy again.
As you look for a job, how does knowing your daughter is learning, cared for, and receiving meals at ECS give you greater freedom to focus on finding work?
It gives me a lot of peace of mind. Looking for a job can already be stressful, but knowing my daughter is safe, cared for, learning, and receiving her meals allows me to actually focus on finding the right opportunity instead of constantly worrying about whether her needs are being met.

Your daughter has also been connected to health services through referrals from ECS. How has having those resources available helped you as a parent?
The health referrals have been extremely helpful, especially being new to the area and not always knowing where to start. Having ECS connect me with resources and services for my daughter makes navigating those things much easier and helps me feel like I have support when I need it.
What has having ECS support meant for you as you work toward creating greater stability and opportunities for your family?
ECS has really become part of the support system we needed while starting over in a new place. Having that stability for my daughter gives me the opportunity to focus on employment, our future, and creating a more stable foundation for the two of us.

You’re teaching your daughter three languages. When you think about the future you’re building for her, how do you believe the education, resources, and support she receives through ECS will help her reach her full potential?
Teaching my daughter three languages is important to me because I want her to grow up with as many opportunities as possible. I want her to be curious, confident, and comfortable in different environments. The education, resources, and support she receives through ECS are helping build that foundation early and giving her even more tools to reach whatever potential and dreams she chooses for herself.
